Engineering for builders, contractors and drafters.

Plan reviews, letters, inspections and PE electrical, sealed by Nick Burton, PE. Structural work goes through a licensed engineer in our network, licensed in your project's state.

PR-01Plan review

Plan review with code-cited redlines

We check your drawings against code before the city does. Every comment comes back marked on the sheet with the code section behind it, so your drafter can fix the set in one pass instead of guessing what the reviewer meant.

If the city already sent the set back, send us the correction notice with the plans. We'll tell you what each comment is really asking for and what has to change.

What we review

  • Residential and commercial sets
  • Electrical sheets, load calcs and panel schedules
  • Correction-notice responses
  • Resubmittals

What you get back

  • Redlines on the sheets
  • The code section for every comment
  • A call with the engineer if anything is unclear
  • A turnaround before work starts

IL-02Letters

Pre-inspection and engineering letters

When an inspector, a lender or an HOA wants an engineer's sign-off, the job stops until the letter shows up. We look at what they're asking for, inspect if it needs it, and send a signed, sealed letter you can hand over.

  • Pre-inspection letters
  • Engineering observation letters
  • Letters for lenders and HOAs

Who seals it

  • Electrical letters: Nick Burton, PE
  • Structural and foundation letters: a licensed structural engineer in our network

SL-05PE seals

PE seals for drafters and designers

You draw the set. Nick reviews it, sends redlines straight to you if anything needs fixing, and seals it once it's ready to submit. Send one set, or set up a standing arrangement so every job you draw has an engineer lined up.

How it works

  • Send the drafted set and the project address
  • Redlines come back to you, not your client
  • Corrected set gets sealed

Sealed by

  • Electrical sheets: Nick Burton, PE
